To help neighbors who are going through tough challenges (e.g. death of a spouse, serious illness or recovery from any injury) by dropping off a meal. It is designed to add value to our neighbors most in need and does not overlap with any other Charter Oaks organization.
The Kenwick cul-de-sac neighbors and those they may know who are in need within Charter Oaks.
Meals delivered to families in need from Your Neighborhood Care Group (up to once a week for a few weeks)

Any neighbors in the Kenwick cul-de- sac who would be open to donating a meal they buy or make up to once a quarter for a neighbor in need.
Any Charter Oaks neighbor you may know in or outside the Kenwick cul-de-sac who is experiencing a serious challenge
If a neighbor learns that a fellow Charter Oaks family has a family member who has a serious situation going, that neighbor would let them know she/he would like to drop off a few meals with the help of other neighbors and would ask the neighbor in need: the best meal type, if there are any allergies or restrictions, the best days and time for delivery.
Then, the concerned neighbor contacts Your Neighborhood Care Group via email, stating:
• Name of the concerned neighbor, contact email, and telephone (in case there are questions)
• Name and address of the neighbor in need as well as favorite food and best day and time to deliver. Privacy is respected. There is no need to discuss the issue or ailment. All that needs to be shared is just that a neighbor could use some care.
